White Wheel Cattle Ranch Simmental Production Sale



Saturday, October 30 th , 2004 * Rankin, Illinois Albert & Carol Stone held their White Wheel Cattle Ranch Simmental Production Sale on Saturday October 30, 2004. There weren’t any costumes in the crowd for this Halloween weekend sale but the sprits were in fine form and performing some tricks of their own. The wind was blowing at speeds that had the hay in the next county instead of in the hay feeders and the electricity in approximately 15 city area had lost power 2 hours prior to sale. Albert proven to remain cool under the pressure, fired up a generator and Col. Jim Birdwell chanted well above the roar of the generator in the background. Anyone that has cattle knows that everyday is a new adventure and we had a successful day for the Stone family despite the spirits and their tricks. The treats were left to the buyers and bidders. Super lunch and great cattle certainly qualified as treats!
